SEMINAR 10. MOBILE APPLICATIONS

The field of Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) is an approach to language learning that is based upon the use of mobile devices (such as MP3/4 players, PDAs, smartphones and tablets). MALL combines mobile learning with computer assisted language learning. MALL offers a way to access learning materials and to interact with teachers and peers, transcending place and time boundaries in a way that has never been possible until now. As such, language learning has been made more approachable than ever. It can be incorporated into all modalities of education: secondary, tertiary, informal, online, blended, etc. However, MALL involves much more than flexible resource access and an easy way to shorten distances between learners. SEMINAR 9. MOOCs

A massive open online course (MOOC ) is an online course aimed at unlimited participation and open access via the web. In addition to traditional course materials such as filmed lectures, readings, and problem sets, many MOOCs provide interactive user forums to support community interactions among students, professors, and teaching assistants (TAs). MOOCs are a recent and widely researched development in distance education which were first introduced in 2006 and emerged as a popular mode of learning in 2012. Canvas network Anyone with an email address can enroll in a course on Canvas Network. Canwas may offer a certificate of participation or completion. What I liked the most about this resource is the fact that there are so many free courses to choose from. Scrolling through the free courses I found one I'd like to study - "PYTHON PROGRAMMING FOR EVERYBODY".   Coursera Every course on Coursera is taught by top instructors from the world’s best universities

WHAT IS WIKI Wiki is a web technology used for collaborative publishing on the web. Wiki is a type of server software that allows you to work with data on a remote server on the Web. Users interact with the software through a web interface that lets them read, edit and publish content. SEMINAR 7. SURVEY SERVICES

Online surveys are a great way to engage your audience and get feedback from them. Making an online survey is easy – there are many great online survey creators. You can choose from a bunch of question options, from multiple choice to dropdowns to a linear scale, add images and YouTube videos. Responses to your surveys are automatically collected in Forms, with real time response info and charts. Also you can take your data further by viewing it all in Sheets. Загрузка... Save to Pocket Pocket is by far the most comprehensive tool for managing your bookmarks, no matter which device you’re on. It offers a perfect bookmarking tool that covers major web browser extensions, Mobile apps, web based interface and much more. Pocket’s bookmarklets are available for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. 2. Google Bookmarks Google Bookmarks is a  standalone cloud-based Bookmark manager  tool developed by Google in 2005. Google Bookmarks comes as a browser extension for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. What this handy tool does is it adds a webpage to your Google Bookmark account, stored on a cloud server.  I really like this service because I use Google Chrome which has the features that make it an amazing browser to experience the web.

SEMINAR 4. PRESENTATION: CREATION & STOCK SERVICES

Analyses of  several services for presentations creation and stock: 1. SlideShare   Users can upload files privately or publicly in the following file formats:  PowerPoint ,  PDF ,  Keynote  or  OpenDocument  presentations.  Slide decks  can then be viewed on the site itself, on hand held devices or  embedded  on other sites.  Although the website is primarily a slide hosting service, it also supports documents, PDFs, videos and  webinars .  SlideShare also provides users the ability to rate, comment on, and share the uploaded conte nt . 2.  Prezi   It is an innovative cloud-based presentation service, with an animated tour around a single canvas instead of a series of slides.
